LGBT+ Sport Cymru was officially constituted in 2015 to provide support for individuals, clubs, local authorities and NGBs in making sport more accessible to people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender.
Our vision is to support the creation of a thriving, inclusive, sporting community across Wales, where LGBT+ individuals feel safe, welcome and free from discrimination.
Ponthir Badminton Club is a club of approx. 25 members catering for both competitive and social badminton. The club have a number of teams in the Gwent League and also enter the KO cup each year. We have 3/4 courts on a Friday and 1 on Tuesday. We use feather shuttles in all sessions.
