Read all about our first Ride for Pride with Welsh Cycling
Well it's been a fantastic summer of sport so far with the Rio Olympics, and not to mention our first 'Ride for Pride'.
Welsh Cycling kindly organised a bike ride around Cardiff Bay to celebrate Pride Cymru on Saturday 13th August. A budding group of cyclists took to the Taff Trail and Cardiff Bay loop for a recreational ride which finished at Coopers Field.
"A great time was had by all on the Ride for Pride around Cardiff. Lovely company, beautiful scenery and most importantly a break for coffee and cake. Cycling is a fantastic sport for engaging people of all abilities, and working together with partners like LGBT Sport Cymru we hope to continue to move away from the stereotypical MAMIL cyclist and make it accessible to all."
- Emma White, Welsh Cycling
Huge thanks to Emma White and Welsh Cycling for organising the ride and we look forward to seeing more people take part next year.
